I’ve got that all down on paper, the thing I’m worried about is taking the time to build all the assets like puppets and a rigged face. That would set me back a month or more, but it would be more convenient later on. What I have right now in AE is limited 3D movement, and by unlimiting that I’d have more control and variety in my works.
Not entirely. While Frigid will be getting her own bi-weekly show eventually, I’ll be doing more still updates on the blog itself. Like short comics using the puppets from the videos that I can make quickly, leaving animated Frigid to her series on my YouTube (with posting it to the official Tumblr also).
Oh, I’m very happy with the changes. I’m able to work more freely with AE’s tools to create my 360-rotation puppets, as well as automated animation scripts, particle effects, randomly moving objects, and slider-controlled puppets. I’ll be doing tutorials once I reach the $350 goal in Patreon, and video tutorials at $550! I hope everyone can learn how to fluidly use AE and Flash, but I still recommend learning Flash to Mastery level before trying AE!
