School + Commissions News

2 more weeks until school’s over for me. This year’s been really hard on me emotionally and mentally. The mental stress mainly from deciding if college is even worth completing, given that artists rely more on a good portfolio. The school I go to currently doesn’t even have an animation program, so a bit of change will be required.

Anyways, about commissions: I know I still owe 3 or so commissions so I’ll be able to work on those as soon as school ends. So two things will be off my cluttered mind, but I was thinking of re-opening commissions but for income rather than practice. A small boost in prices to make it worth my time, since I know a lot of you wanted anthro/centaur/equestria girls art. Also, I may finally be opening the ever-sought after “Full Length” commission slot. As for pricing, I’m thinking $0.50/frame, or $120/10 seconds. That price is still being determined, but is half as much as my competition. This will definitely be worth my time if anyone is interested. This comes with voice acting as supplied by my collection of free spirits, as well as script improvement recommendations. Price may change as I feel more confident about my quality. These commissions will be similar quality to the most recent episode of Ask Frigid Drift.

As far as GIF commissions go, with the introduction of Full Length animation commissions, I’ll be reducing the script complexity of GIF commissions to simple, looped movement. I’ve been having problems of people suggesting full 15-second scripts to me which I cannot fit inside an animated GIF, but now’s your chance to commission a full animation, huh? Well, not now, but in 2 weeks?
