I'd try to add in some senses of conflict or something, or some goal maybe. It doesn't have to be super serious, it can still be fun / cute stuff, but conflict and misunderstandings can create some great situations to work in. Some more lighthearted examples might be rivalry, trying to fit in with a group, a character has absurdly unrealistic expectations, etc. Try to avoid relying on references as the most common humor element well.

Thanks for all this input! I’ll note everything down, and I also want to avoid using references for this series. I know Frigid relies on them a bit too much currently.
