Your memory leaks are worse than Flash’s sudden crashes.
Answering questions helps me collect my thoughts and helps relay some info on my project to you. I suggest starting very general since I’ll be creating content along the way.
Reblogging for round two! Already answered questions:
Is it school related or personal?
So far, it’s just me and my Patreon supporters. Once I complete the Teaser Trailer by the end of the month (hopefully), I’ll be hiring (yes, with real money) voice actors/actresses and animators.
The project will be using my After Effects set-up for now, with Maya 3D portions. As of now, I’ll be composing the music like I did for MexiDubs, but I hope to hire a musician along the way to compose a score each episode.
Episodes are expected to be about 3~8 minutes long, and hopefully longer as I get more familiar with the set-up.
I’ll be letting my Patreon supporters help name the current and future characters. Cameo Tier supporters ($15/mo) will get a character they made (humanized pony OCs included) as a background warrior for larger battles or shop owners in towns. Patrons also get to see the episodes early, WIP videos (unlike the screenshots I post here), and get 2x voting power if voting via comment box on Patreon.
For this specific project I intend to keep it strictly action/adventure (fighting scenes, exploration, and story building). I plan on starting a second series later on to pick up the slack in the comedy department. I won’t be uploading every month until I get enough help with the projects. (These are both going to be personal projects intended for use as part of my professional portfolio)
The project (yet unnamed) is an adventure online animation series starring a fresh cast of OCs I’m still creating. The show will be set up so that each character has a finite amount of resources and health (no Naruto-getting-infinite-kunai or everyone-coming-back-from-the-dead). The part that makes this interesting and unique is that I’ll be holding a vote after every episode in which the viewers will decide what happens next (generally speaking). I still have a lot of control over what happens, but general tasks like “fight or flight” and “who joins the party next”. I’m currently working on a teaser trailer so people like voice actors and animators will see what the finished product will look like.
Thanks for asking that, stranger.
