Oh cool! I figured out why the eyes were blinking oddly. The blink frame was set farther back from the screen than the open eye in 3D space. Glad I caught that before finishing the video!
Anyone really good at using colors want to be my color assistant? I’m not very good with it, and I could use advice on what colors to go where since I’m color deficit. Send a message if you’d like to throw some color critiques now and then.
Oh gosh I finally figured out that terribad lag I was getting was from all the puppets being on screen at once. If they’re not onscreen, I turned off their opacity. For some reason that saves all of the RAM that would be allocated to them. Before I was just moving them offscreen, but they were still being rendered. This should shorted the render times to less than an hour (like last time) meaning more Patreon previews!
Progress is going well, I hope it doesn’t look rushed..
